Clean all pieces with hot water only — no soap. Season the bamboo tray by wiping with a damp cloth after each use and allowing it to dry fully. Porcelain pieces are heat-resistant but avoid sudden temperature shock.

Gongfu Cha ("tea with skill") is not a specific ceremony but a way of approaching tea — with attention, patience, and proper tools. The right set makes the difference between brewing tea and practicing it.
We assembled our gongfu sets by sourcing each element separately — the tray from a Yunnan bamboo workshop, the gaiwan and pitcher from Jingdezhen, the cups from a small studio in Guangdong — then curated them for aesthetic harmony.
